30 Seconds

We had a fun time at the Easter Egg Hunt yesterday with our pals. The egg hunt took all of about 30 seconds!

WIth only 12 hours left in our avery-sitting extravaganza, I think it is safe to say all went well! She is so much fun!

So Far So Good...

We are at the beginning of a three day babysitting gig with Avery...hope the first night goes well! She loves Emily!

Super Reader

Webster School has been doing a Million Word Challenge since November. Each child has a reading log and he/she fills it out each time they read at home. Emily is extremely diligent about reading EVERY night so she can fill in the log. On Monday, the school had their second assembly to honor two children from each class as "super readers." Emily was chosen to receive the award! 

The best part of the story is that I was actually there to see her get the award! It was only by crazy coincidence but I was there non the less!

Celebrate Reading!

Last week Webster School celebrated Literacy Week. The kids were able to dress up in honor of Dr. Seuss. There was crazy sock day (Fox in Socks), Wacky Wednesday, and a few others. On Friday (which happened on Monday due to the storm) it was dress as your favorite character. Emily's Mary Poppins outfit was a huge hit!

Spring Skiing

Today was a glorious day at Pats Peak! Emily skied with Emma all day and they even rode the chairlift together..ALONE! Emily almost never skis in a snowplow these days, only if it is very steep....which is nonexistent at Pats Peak.

Hotel Fun

The Mt. Washington Hotel is an amazing place. It is beautiful and very kid friendly. The girls made s'mores, did art projects on the lobby floor, swam in the pool, and dressed up for dinner every night.

Vacation Skiing!

Emily spent most of her vacation skiing! So far we have skied 4 days and plan on a fifth day tomorrow! We skied at Sunapee with Jen on Monday and at Bretton Woods with the Munoz family Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We had some great snow and a lot of fun!

 Bretton Woods is not a very difficult mountain but this particular glade actually had some pitch to it and Emily skied it very well.

Earrings

Emily has been creating and wearing duct tape earrings for a week! Since there is no ear piercing in sight we should probably buy more duct tape!
