Gymnastics Show

On Sunday Emily and Evie had a little gmnastics show at the Y. It was short and sweet, which was perfect. The girls had a good time and Emily loved the medal she recieved at the end of the show!

COLD!

Sudden Pitch is open for the summer! We took Evie there on Saturday morning and the girls actually braved the cold water.

Graduation - Part II

Each child had to come up with what peace meant to him/her. There were some sweet answers as you will see in the first video.

After lunch the children came out of the school in matching t-shirts complete with a photo of the class on it and each child signed the back of every shirt! They were adorable!

Graduation - Part 1

Last Friday was a happy-sad day. Well really, it was sad for me and Emily.  This year has been the most amazing experience I could have hoped for, for Emily. She is a "Montessori Kid", no question about it. The program for graduation was wonderful. It was all about the children, complete with songs, lunch and interesting facts about the year in kindergarten.

 Emily's beloved Spanish teacher, Senora Chag. The funny part is, I coached her 15 years ago at the Y!

Each child made a flag of his/her favorite kindergarten moment. Emily drew every puppet that she and her classmates made. Of course her favorite moment was related to an art project

Lots of Girls!

My college friend Diane, and her one year old twins, came to visit for two days. The girls are very good but VERY, VERY busy! Emily was in heaven with so many babies around.
