Singing and Dancing

Avery

We were lucky enough to babysit Avery on Saturday and she also slept over! Emily was in HEAVEN! Avery, who cried a lot in her first 3 months, has turned a corner and is now an angel! We had a great time with her and Emily was over the top happy.

Cooking Class

Emily and 2 of her friends went to a kids cooking class last Friday. They made some type of biscuits, which were not yummy, but Emily really liked the class anyway. The fact that she got her hands messy was quite shocking!

Emily Loves Soccer

There is no doubt that Emily is loving soccer. Some of her best friends are on the team and Rick is the coach....what is not to love? She does spend a lot of time running on the outside of the action while on the field. She is not very aggressive, not her personality, but when she gets the ball she does OK!

Corn Maze

On Monday we went to a corn maze with Jen. We went to this maze once before, when Emily was one, and have not been back since. It was a beautiful day and Emily love the maze. She thought "it is like the Amazing Race"

There were 10 mailboxes throughout the maze. We had to answer questions about turtles and then figure out which way to go.

Jasmine

On Saturday Emily went to Grace's birthday party and as luck would have it Jasmine was there. Jasmine looks slightly like our friend Ariel but the girls did not even notice (yes, it was the same actress). Jasmine does an amazing job and all the girls were in princess heaven!

Field Trip

Emily's kindergarten class has short "practice" field trip to the Bedford Fire station. It was nice to be able to chaperone and meet the children and a few parents. Emily thoughts on the field trip came out the next day...."Mommy, I don't know about that field trip yesterday" - all spoken with her nose crinkled....

This is Emily's new pal Elias. He is quite smitten with her.

Playing School

I love when Emily plays school because it gives me a look inside her day, how the teachers talk to the children, and some of what she does all day. Here she is reading a chapter book to the class, and there are a few unruly students..even though you can't see them.

I have to say, I am beyond impressed with her kindergarten. She is leaning how to read already and she is loving it!

She is wearing my reading glasses (stop laughing)...at least we know she looks cute in glasses should she need them!

And so it begins......

After almost 9 days of wiggling the tooth, it finally came out on Friday night! Emily was beyond excited and not at all disturbed about how her mouth was bleeding afterward.
