In the Mix

Emily continues to amaze us each week at soccer. The level of aggressiveness, compared to the last two years, is astounding. She really tries to get herself into the mix when she is on the field. Now, if we could just put some more meat on those legs!

Fairy Houses

After a morning of heavy rain we headed to Portsmouth for our third year at the Fairy House Tour. We brought Emma with us and Evie met us there so Emily was in heaven! The girls spent most of the time making their fairy house with a lot of detail. The girls were not totally into wearing their wings this year...another sign that they are growing up. sniff, sniff

Avery and Emily

We babysat Avery for 2 nights last weekend while Ricky and Kendall went to a wedding. Avery is at a perfect age because she and Emily are really starting to play together. Emily gets to pick the game and Avery will do whatever Emily says...a perfect combo!

Quack, Quack

Emily and I had a great day in Boston with Jen on Sunday. We went on a Duck Boat Tour, shopped around and ate a yummy lunch outdoors. The weather was spectacular!

 When the "Duck" went into the water Emily was a little nervous and asked me "is the road under the water?"

Emily started gymnastics again this week. I can't take credit for any of these great photos. My friend Donna took them!

What a difference a year makes, and a week with the british coaches! This year Emily is 1000 times more aggressive than the last two years. She has always hustled but this year she can actually get herself into the mix! I am not saying she is the most aggressive out there but, for her, she is very aggressive. Last week the team played very well and she actually scored a goal!

Today we had our parent / child tournament at Sudden Pitch. Emily played really well and everyone had a good morning!
