Rafa

We spent 2 glorious days at the qualifying rounds of the US Open. Emily loved it just as much as last year! We watched several good matches but the highlight was the autograph she scored from Rafael Nadal. We watched him practice with Tommy Robreto for 2 hours, almost was trampled to death with other autograph seekers, but in the end she got one of the most coveted autographs of all!

Emily and Emma

 Emily, Emma, and I spent a fun day at Clark's Trading Post last week. With vacations and camp the girls have not seen each other as much as they would like so this was a great day that followed a sleepover. We had never been to Clark's. The Bear show was great!!!! The bumper boats and water slide were great fun too!!!

Cartwheels and Other D.C. Fun

 our hotel had a pool on the roof. This is the #1 reason we stayed there! it was awesome!!!!

City Sights

 I took this photo at 7:30 am while in line for tickets to the top of the Washington Monument. It was one of the best things we did, the view from the top is amazing and the tickets are free!

A Birthday Trip

Months and months ago, Kellie asked if Emily and I would like to join them for a trip to Washington DC . It took me about one second to say yes!!! It was a good excuse to celebrate Evie's birthday in high style!

On the first night we took a night tour of the monuments. It was amazing because the tour guide gave us great information about all we were seeing. It was the only rain we had on the trip, at the last stop on the tour. What a great way to start off the trip!

 the Big Bus tour is a great way to see the city. We did the same tour in London. They have ponchos available for rainy weather, and for napping. In her defense, it was 9:45pm

Camp Leclerc

Jack and Mike (and Karin) came to Camp Leclerc for their annual visit. We had such a great visit, jammed packed with activties. It is hard to believe the boys are already 4 years old!

 Both boys love Emily, but Mike REALLY loves Emily!

The Cartwheel
