Mother/Daughter Cartwheel

We ended the summer cartwheel series with the "Mother of all Cartwheels" It has been at least 30 years since I did a cartwheel and it was just like riding a bike, it came right back! The best part was, I didn't get hurt!

Soccer

Here we are again! Emily's 5th season playing North Rec Soccer. I love it (not as much as LAX) it is really fun to watch and cheer for all the kids! Emily is doing well this year. I would love to see her play more soccer (and dance less) but it is great to watch anyway. She played very well yesterday and scored 2 goals as well. She does get herself in the mix, and is a little aggressive......

End of Summer

The parent/child tennis tournament is the official end to our summer. It is always on Labor Day and it is a bitter sweet day, for sure. It is so fun to play with Emily against all her friends and parents. It was a great way to end the BEST summer

Time Flies When You Are Having Fun

 This is the first day of 4th grade. Sad but true. She has a wonderful teacher and some good pals in her class and for the first time she and Sienna are in different classes. They are bummed about this!!

Hanging on to Summer

Last Tuesday was our last day of summer vacation. I like to squeeze every last drop out of summer and we were invited to Sunapee with Jen, so it was a perfect storm. We brought Emma also so the day could not have been better. We spent the day swimming, diving, eating, and boat riding. It was the perfect end to the BEST summer

Statue of Liberty

Last Saturday we went to the Statue of Liberty. We booked tickets to the top of the pedestal a month ago, tickets to the crown are sold out until the end of October. We had a beautiful day, had fun with the selfie stick, and took the audio tour of the island. Great day!

What can I say? Emily loves the 2 days we spend at the US Open. She loves getting the autographs, watching the players, and did I mention she LOVES the autographs? She got a lot of good ones this year!!!
