Webster Fest

It is one of my favorite nights of the year! All the children at Webster School have the work displayed all over the school.

This is the school wide squiggle! Every child gets a paper with a shape on it and he/she had to make a drawing around and including the shape. Emily turned hers into a hamburger (with no veggies) This is funny because she doesn't eat burgers!

Girls on the Run

We are back for another season of GOTR! Webster School has 2 teams this year with 30 girls total (15 girls is the max you can have per team) We have do a lot of fun lessons. We have talked about Peer pressure, gratitude, confidence, dealing with bullies, just to name a few topics.
I love coaching the girls and look forward to the 5k on June 5th!

LAX is Back!

I am happy to report that Emily is playing lacrosse again this year! Our amazing coach, Heather is back again this year. She was such a positive influence on the girls last year we are thrilled to have her back!
Our first game was last Sunday and we emerged with an 8-3 victory. Emily scored one goal which was  exciting! The girls are playing full field this year so that means MORE RUNNING!

Leclerc Girls

We were lucky to have Charlotte and Avery here for most of the day today! The girls had a great time together and Avery and Charlotte LOVE Emily. In fact Charlotte only has eyes for Emily. If Emily wasn't near her, it was a problem. They built a fort, bounced on the trampoline, played Legos, and lots of other things too!

 pigtails all around

 "Hold hands"

Charlotte can feed herself, but if she need a little help, only Emily could help

State House Visit

Last week the 4th graders from Webster School went on the field trip to the State House. It was a very good trip and Emily loved it. We were able to sit above the Senate as they were getting ready to discuss a Medicaid bill. The House wasn't in session so we were able to sit in their seats and do a mock vote.
All in all, a good trip!
