School Stuff

The 4th grade had a great field trip to Bear Brook State Park. We spent the day looking for creatures in the water, playing games, and learning about different trees and leaves.  Last week Emily had a violin concert at the middle school. She has enjoyed playing the violin this year but I think next year she will be playing the (my) flute

Practice 5k

It is hard to believe that Girls on the Run is almost over! last week we had our practice 5k which went sooo well! Emily and Katie ran together the entire time and finished together (and first)

It is such a fun day to plan and watch the girls finish 3 miles! 

I loved every second!!

Father Daughter Dance

Another year, another dance. I was in charge of the dance this year so I was there to see all the girls and their dads. The girls dance, the dads stand around, and the PTO profited $1250!

Harry Potter

It did not matter where she was, she was always reading Harry Potter. She finished the series for the second time while we were in Florida!

Shark Tooth Hunting - Year 4

Back at it for our fourth year of hunting for sharks teeth! This year we came home with over 1,900!! Rick and Emily love it...and I have to admit it is addicting!!

Harry Potter - Day 2

For our second full day at Universal we net the Mllne's in Diagon Alley. The girls had a great time going on the rides, using their wands, and having other muggle fun!

Harry Potter Day 1

Emily has been beyond excited for our trip to Florida particularly for our diversion to Universal and Islands of Adventure for the Harry Potter sections!

Since I had already been there I knew how awesome it was and how much she would love it, and boy was I right.

The wand chooses the wizard. When we arrived at our hotel we had an hour to go to the park before it closed! we made the most of our hour! We went to Olivander's wand shop, and to the little show before purchasing a wand. Emily was picked to be in the show and of course the wizard helped Emily find the wand for her, which of course we purchased!
