The Big Apple

After 2 amazing days at The Open, we went into the city for some fun! Our first stop was a visit to the top of the Empire State Building! Rick and I have not been back since we got engaged there..... 14 years ago! Of course a cartwheel photo was in order at the top!
After a great lunch, we went to see Wicked! I have seen it twice, and Rick once, but never in New York, and it was AMAZING! I had introduced Emily to the music, and the story prior to our trip and we are still listening to the music in the car now!
What a story! The story about OZ before Dorothy dropped in.....

5th Grade

After THE BEST 3 month summer Emily had to go back to school after Labor Day. Hard to imagine it is our last year in our sweet elementary school. Emily has Mrs. Berube this year, which she is thrilled about! And after a year apart she and Sienna are back together again

My Favorite Days

There are so many things that I love and going to the US Open with Rick and Emily is at the top of the list! Emily got so many autographs this year including Andy Murray! Next year we may try 3 days!

Cici Bellis won the qualifying and earned a spot in the main draw where she won 2 rounds before losing to Kerber
On our way to the Open we stay with Sal and Diane for the night. Celeste and Ameila are 5 now! Emily looks giant next to them!

Sears Tower

The official name is Willis Tower, but no one calls it that! The girls couldn't get to the top fast enough! They loved the heights. The tower had glass boxes that stuck out  from the building, on the 103rd floor, and it was amazing. Super scary to look down, but not as scary as TILT!
