Last week was Webster Fest at Emily's school. Each day they had to wear something different and Emily loves that kind of thing! On Wednesday night we went to the school to see a lot of Emily's work from the year. It is a night to celebrate literacy. Emily wrote a book on skiing but my favorite was Emily, By the Numbers. Not that this is an extraordinary project, but it is right up her alley. Emily spends a lot of time making lists......mostly of her family members and her friends.....she makes the same lists over and over. I am constantly finding papers of all shapes and sizes with lists on them.
And, I do like the Lilac drawing with the poem too.
