Trick or Treat

On Saturday night we went to Baby Cam's house to celebrate Trick or Treating in his neighborhood. I had a great time and I got to hand out candy to the hundreds of kids that came to his house. On Sunday afternoon I went out in my neighborhood. My costume is from Korea, from one of Daddy's work friends. I really liked it!
"I hope baby Cam doesn't want this job next year."
"Why does my Mommy take my photo with the sun in my eyes?"

Me and Tia

Me and Dougy's friends
the sword is not part of my costume

Getting ready to get some candy...I actually don't know what candy is but maybe my Mommy will let me find out this year.

Gym Class!

Today was our last gym class of the session! We have a good time each week and we will continue next session as well. As some of you may know Emily's binkey is "broken" so you will see a reference to that below.
Running down the tumble track! Is the tongue ever going to stay in the mouth?
Parachutte play

Jump into the ball pit!
No, this can not replace the binkey.

Just hanging (and swinging) around!

A Shocking Event!

Yesterday we went to Charmingfare Farm. There are many animals there to pet, feed, and just to look at. The most amazing part of the day was when Emily said she wanted to ride a pony. No one actually thought she would get on the horse, never mind ride anywhere. I waited in line anyway and when it was her turn PRESTO...she not only got on the horse but went for the ride too! She loved it!
I was shocked at this point!

Emily was only interested in holding the bag of "snacks" for the animals. She wanted Rick to do the feeding of the animals. She would hand out the snacks and he would do the rest. Here you see him in the distance feeding the Reindeer!

Milking a cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wagon and the Bear......

This wagon was mine when I was little. It is funny because I remembered it as being much larger than it actually is. Anyway, I took it down from the attic at my parents house and Emily and I had a great time with it. You are probably wondering why she is wearing a winter hat.....I was wondering the same thing. See below for the part about the bear.....
I had just taken this photo ( I was in the wagon) when I heard rustling in the woods and then a large black bear crossed the street in front of us. He then went into the woods on the right hand side of the street, where you see the large green bushes. I was not quick enough to get a photo of him which is a good thing because that would mean he lingered too long.

Apple Picking!

Today we took Emily and Kelsey apple picking. Don't let these photos fool you, it was not Emily's best outing. Besides riding in the wagon when we first got there and climbing the 8 foot ladder (completely by herself) twice, she was not on her best behavior....shocking I know! Anyway I am hoping that she will actually eat an apple on of these days.

starting the climb

Be careful!

Smile!

Building!

Emily loves to build with blocks and she does not even mind when they fall over!

Ooooooohhhhh Baby Cam!

Visiting with Baby Cam is all Emily talks about! She loves to talk about how she holds him, burps him (not really) and puts his Binky back in his mouth. So today we went for another visit and she is still smitten with him. She held him for a long time but no matter how hard she tried he would not keep the Binky in his mouth. She could not imagine someone not wanting a Binky...she would have taken his in a second!
