Emily has been talking about getting another Dorothy since her other fish died. I thought it might be nice for an early birthday gift. Pets are not really my forte, but a fish is basically harmless....and better than her asking for a dog! We brought home Dorothy The Second and Emily was so pleased.
FYI - Dorothy is the name of Elmo's fish...hence the name

Hehe. Emily is absolelutely adorable. (please ezcuse the spelling) If the dog questiong does ever come up--think miniature schnauzer. They don't shed, they don't drool, small. Cute, protective. A little yappy when people first come in but they calm down as soon as they see the face. Great breed. :)
