Beach Puddles

We spent 2 days at the beach with one of my college friends and his family! Emily loves to play in the puddles! Hours of entertainment!

Again with the tongue!

5:15pm

It is clear that someone still needs a nap. She was drinking her milk, playing with little dolls, and watching nursery rhymes on TV and just toppled over, fast asleep!

Fun on The Cape!

We spent a few days on the Cape with Sue, a college roommate, and her 3 boys. We had some rainy day activities and a great beach day too! Emily did a lot of watching the boys rough house, play Star Wars, all typical boy behavior. She loved it and would only let them help her out of her car seat etc......

Eating our free chips after visiting the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory!

Eating their loot from the Candy Manor in Chatham...Emily could not believe her good fortune....she was allowed to put lots of candy (a lot to her) in a bag and then eat it all!

Being silly with the boys!

She really wanted to boogie board in the ocean, she just could not bring herself to actually go in!

We have our own lounge chair now....thanks to Aunt Susan!

Emily, Ben, Nicholas, and Chris!

The Beach With Baby Cam

On Monday we went to Wells Beach with Baby Cam, his Grammy P, Shawna, and lots of other friends! We had great weather and an even better day!

"This is how you eat a PB&J"

Emily loves to stick her head in a bucket of water....

...and this is what she looks like when she lifts her head up!

Baby Cam loved the beach, this is not a good indicator of how much he loved it....I just love the look of concern on Emily's face because her boy is crying

Delicious!

A Day at the Lake!

Today I spent the day on Lake Sunapee with my Mommy and Jen. It was not very sunny so I played with all of my new toys that my Auntie Donna and Auntie Deb gave me for my birthday. I got lots of fun things...... a dog with her own carrier, a purse with a cell phone, nail polish, etc. I spent most of the day painting my toe nails or my Mommy's or Jen's. I really liked doing this! My Mommy does not know where I learned it but I was good at it!
Jen also let me drive the boat! Mommy said I kept going in circles but it was fun!

Painting toes!

The paparazzi keeps talking pictures of me....so I put my hood up!

Carrying all my stuff!

Driving!

This is as far as I got....I really did want to swim!

A Great Beach Week!

We had a late start to our beach season but as of today we have been to the beach 5 out of the last 7 days! Of course it helps with friends who have houses very close to the beach!

Using Grammy's binoculars on Friday!

Eating lunch with Emily and Elizabeth from CT on Sunday

Is she my daughter or what? Emily and Elizabeth had this chair and Emily absolutely LOVED it!

Birthday Girl!

Today Emily turned 3 years old. It is hard to believe! We have spent every birthday on Lake Sunapee with Jen but not this year. It was rainy and cold all day long. So we were a little lost at what to do...... We did the only thing we could think of and that was going to Chuck E Cheese. OMG! It was my first time there and it was quite an experience. Emily liked it and the pizza is yummy! Jen came too and she baked Emily a cake and brought tons of sprinkles so Emily could decorate her cake. Overall it was a wonderful day spent with a very special three year old girl!
