New Hampshire Project

The 4th grade spends a lot of time learning about NH. They end the year with a big project on anything they want, that has to do with NH. Emily chose NH skiing and its history. The day the project was assigned she started working on her report, collecting data, facts, and figures. She worked very, very hard. We also took a trip to Cannon Mountain to do to the ski muesum. Her report was mostly complete by the time we went, but we took lots of photos, including photos of Bode MIller's Olympic medals, as he was part of her report.
The most impressive part of her project was the "visual" She and Rick worked hard with paper mache, chicken wire, paint, and even Lego people, to make a very impressive mountain. Ricky lent Emily an old pair of wooden skis to take in on presentation day, and the Dale-like sweater was a nice touch too.
Needless to say, an A++ was earned and she was very proud!
